The BRICS Heads of IP offices (BRICS HIPO) met in the sidelines of the 2012 WIPO General Assemblies in Geneva, Switzerland and agreed on a need to enhance cooperation between the respective BRICS IP offices in an effort to work towards the enhancement of the value of IP and to ensure its contribution to the economic development and growth in the member countries.
